Renewed Hope Mega Rally to hold in Atlanta as diaspora mobilises support

The Future Platform, a coalition of Nigerian professionals, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and development advocates in the diaspora, has announced plans to host the Renewed Hope Mega Rally on August 7, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.

The event, scheduled to take place at the Marriott Hotel, is expected to attract Nigerians from across the United States and other parts of the world in what organizers describe as a significant gathering aimed at promoting civic engagement, patriotism, and support for Nigeria’s development agenda.

According to the organizers, the rally will provide an opportunity to examine and discuss policies, reforms, and developmental initiatives implemented under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Participants will also engage in conversations on governance, economic growth, infrastructure development, and other key national issues.

Speaking on behalf of The Future Platform, Executive Director of Operations, Lincoln Ibie, said the event reflects the commitment of Nigerians in the diaspora to contribute meaningfully to the country’s progress and global competitiveness.

He noted that the gathering would serve as a platform for dialogue, networking, and collaboration among professionals, investors, policymakers, business leaders, youth groups, and other stakeholders interested in Nigeria’s socio-economic transformation.

“The Nigerian diaspora remains a critical partner in nation-building. This rally will strengthen partnerships, encourage constructive engagement, and provide opportunities for exchanging ideas that support sustainable development, economic growth, and national prosperity,” Ibie said.

Organizers explained that beyond highlighting achievements and ongoing reforms, the rally seeks to encourage greater diaspora participation in national affairs while fostering unity and a shared commitment to Nigeria’s future.

The programme will feature keynote addresses, policy discussions, cultural displays, goodwill messages, and interactive sessions focusing on investment opportunities, youth empowerment, governance, economic development, and the role of the diaspora in driving national growth.

The Future Platform expressed confidence that the event would further deepen collaboration between Nigerians at home and abroad while reinforcing support for initiatives aimed at promoting economic advancement, social development, and national unity.

Several political leaders, government officials, business executives, traditional rulers, members of the diplomatic community, and other prominent stakeholders are expected to attend what organizers describe as one of the largest Nigerian diaspora gatherings planned for 2026.
