2027: Pro-Tinubu, Mutfwang group inaugurates Plateau campaign council, begins grassroots mobilisation

The Community to Community (C2C) for Tinubu and Mutfwang Campaign Organisation on Saturday inaugurated its Plateau State Executive Council and coordinators in the 17 local government areas, formally launching its grassroots mobilisation campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The inauguration, held at Peregrine Hotel, Rayfield, Jos, drew party stakeholders, community leaders, youth and women representatives, as well as local government coordinators and secretaries of the organisation.

Speaking at the event, the Founder and Director-General of the organisation, Chief Ambassador Nanyah Andrew Daman (JP), said the group would intensify grassroots mobilisation across Plateau State to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang.

Daman said the organisation had commenced voter mobilisation by encouraging eligible Nigerians to register for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), replace lost or damaged cards, verify their registration details and identify their polling units ahead of the elections.

He urged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to remain united after the party’s primaries, warning against anti-party activities.

“Politics naturally produces winners and losers, but the success of our party must remain our overriding priority. We must reject anti-party activities, strengthen our unity and work together to secure victory in 2027,” he said.

According to him, the organisation, established in 2012 and repositioned in 2025, comprises politicians, professionals, community leaders, business owners, youths, women and students working to strengthen grassroots support for the APC across the state.

He appealed to the national and Plateau State leadership of the APC to integrate members of the organisation into strategic party structures and campaign activities in recognition of their contributions.

Daman attributed the group’s confidence in seeking the re-election of President Tinubu to what he described as the administration’s infrastructure development, appointments of Middle Belt indigenes into key federal positions and ongoing road projects, including the Akwanga–Jos–Bauchi–Gombe Highway and the proposed Mararaban Jama’a–Pankshin–Langtang–Yelwa–Shendam Road Corridor.

He also praised Governor Mutfwang’s administration for projects and programmes in road infrastructure, water supply, urban renewal, agriculture, youth empowerment, ICT development, education and security, saying they had strengthened public support for the administration.

The event featured the unveiling of the organisation’s campaign identity, including branded materials and insignia, as well as the decoration of members of the State Executive Council and local government coordinators.

The newly inaugurated officials pledged to mobilise support for the APC across the state’s 17 local government areas, promote voter participation and strengthen party unity ahead of the 2027 general elections.
