
The Plateau State Chapter of the Middle Belt Journalists Forum (MBJF) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Dan Kwada on his recent appointment as Senior Special Assistant on Middle Belt Nationalities to the Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang.
In a statement signed by its Coordinator, Mr. Ezekiel Dontinna, MBJF expressed that Hon. Kwada’s appointment came as no surprise, considering his well-known dedication and unwavering commitment to championing the cause of the Middle Belt region.
The forum described his appointment as a testament to his enduring efforts in fostering peaceful coexistence among the diverse communities that constitute the Middle Belt.
“We view this appointment as a confirmation of your belief in the Middle Belt ideology,” the statement reads.
“It is also a reflection of your relentless work to ensure that the various ethnic nationalities within the zone unite in peace and progress. Your track record speaks volumes, and we are confident that this new role will spur you to greater heights in advancing the region’s collective interests.”
The MBJF further pledged its full support to Hon. Kwada, emphasizing its readiness to collaborate with him to ensure the success of his new assignment.
“We stand ready to partner with your office in whatever capacity is needed, to advance the goals of justice, peace, and equity across the region,We urge you to remain steadfast and true to the trust that His Excellency, the Governor, has placed in you.” The statement continued.
While lauding Governor Caleb Mutfwang for creating the Office of Senior Special Assistant on Middle Belt Nationalities, MBJF noted that this move is a clear indication of the Governor’s commitment to inclusivity.
“This office represents a crucial step towards achieving unity and equity, not just in Plateau State but throughout the Middle Belt. We commend the Governor’s visionary leadership and his dedication to all people in the state,” MBJF stated.
The Forum also assured Hon. Kwada of its unwavering support.
“As Middle Belt journalists, we will always stand by you, offering our counsel and prayers. You can count on us to help disseminate important information concerning the Middle Belt Region. This appointment is a monumental task, but we believe in your ability to rise to the occasion. May you continue to bring honor and progress to the people of the Middle Belt.”
Ezekiel Dontinna, on behalf of MBJF Plateau State, also reassured Governor Mutfwang of their ongoing commitment to supporting his administration’s goals for Plateau State, the Middle Belt, and the country at large.
