The Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Plateau State, Barr. Philemon Dafi has tasked ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) of government towards adopting artificial intelligence for better and effective service delivery.
Dafi, acknowledged that deployment of artificial intelligence by civil servants in line with global standard practice will sharpened their skills in their various areas of endeavors.
He gave the recommendation at the closing of a 5-day training on best practices in contemporary construction and procurement for the Plateau State built environment sector.
Our correspondent reports that the capacity building is organized by the Executive Governor’s Strategy and Results Delivery Office (SRDO) for ministry department and agencies (MDAs).
Laying emphasis on synergy and collaboration among civil engineers, architects, mechanical engineers, builders, quantity surveyors, and other professionals around built environment sector, he charged them set modalities to tackle incidence of quack practices and building collapsed.
He also identified the age long professional envy, rivalry and oppression degenerating setback on government parastatals, urging the civil servants to have a change of attitude.

The Chief of staff to Governor Mutfwang Engr. Jeremiah Satman, affirmed government commitment to rejig a civil service to be more productive as it is the engine room of government.
He challenged the participants to be deliberate in enhancing professionalism and exposed the activities of quacks which has become a nightmare, and to also casket the knowledge learned to their subordinates.
However, the managing director, SRDO, Mudibo, confirmed the training is part and parcel of governor Mutfwang’s drive of invigorating a civil service for efficient performance.
Certificates were issued to all participants at the end of the five day capacity building.
