VALGEE Transport Services Limited has expanded its fleet with additional Toyota Sienna vehicles to increase passenger capacity and improve service delivery on the Jos–Abuja route.
The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Liberty Makwin, disclosed this on Wednesday during the unveiling of the vehicles in Jos, Plateau State.
Makwin said a substantial number of the newly introduced vehicles would be deployed on the Jos–Abuja corridor, which he described as strategically important to the company’s operations.
He said the expansion was part of efforts to respond to passenger demand, improve vehicle availability and make booking and departure arrangements more reliable.
“A substantial number of the new vehicles will be deployed on the Jos–Abuja route, reflecting our strategic importance to the company’s operations,” he said.
According to him, the company was also strengthening its internal operational systems, including vehicle coordination, booking processes and service delivery, to ensure that the increased fleet translated into a more organised travel experience.
Makwin said dependable interstate transportation involved more than getting passengers to their destinations, noting that travellers also needed to secure bookings, depart as scheduled and travel with confidence.
“Our focus has always been on building a transport service passengers can depend on. As demand grows, we are strengthening our capacity, improving our systems and ensuring that the VALGEE experience continues to meet the standard our passengers expect,” he said.
He expressed optimism that the additional vehicles would provide passengers with more travel options and help the company manage periods of increased demand.
The CEO added that the expansion represented part of the company’s broader efforts to improve operational efficiency, strengthen its existing services and sustain passenger confidence in its operations.
VALGEE said it would continue to strengthen its capacity and service delivery as demand for interstate transportation evolves.
