Senator Daduut Lauds Nentawe Yilwatda’s Election as APC National Chairman

Senator Nora Ladi Daduut has congratulated the newly elected National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, on his emergence, describing it as a significant milestone for the party.

Daduut, who represented Plateau South in the 9th National Assembly, expressed optimism in Yilwatda’s capacity to unite party members and reposition the APC for greater success.

“This is a testimony that the National Leader of our party, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the leadership structure believe in his capacity to steer the APC to greater heights,” she stated.

Currently serving as the Pro-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Senator Daduut said she is confident that Yilwatda would lead the party with vision, integrity, and a renewed sense of unity ahead of the 2027 general elections.

She urged the new chairman and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) to work collaboratively in transforming the party and building on existing achievements.

According to her, under Yilwatda’s leadership, the APC is poised to experience “renewed unity, strategic direction, and grassroots re-engagement”—factors she described as vital for consolidating the gains of the Tinubu-led administration.

Describing Prof. Yilwatda as a “distinguished academic and visionary personality,” Daduut expressed confidence in his ability to elevate the party to greater heights.

“We commend the party’s leadership for ensuring a seamless transition and affirming the APC’s commitment to internal democracy, excellence, and accountability,” she added.
