Plateau State governor, Caleb Mutfwang, expressed his admiration and gratitude towards President Bola Tinubu and the Justices of the Supreme Court for their impartiality and bravery during his court battles
.Saying their actions have left an indelible mark on the hearts of the people of Plateau State, who are rolling out drums to celebrate his victory at the Supreme Court.
Upon his arrival at the Yakubu Gowon Airport, Heipang, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, Governor Mutfwang was welcomed by a massive crowd.
As he traveled through the highways, citizens lined up to show their support and excitement for his homecoming. In his speech to the enthusiastic crowd, Mutfwang gave thanks to God, the judiciary, and the people of Plateau State for their unwavering support throughout his legal journey.
He acknowledged the challenges he faced but confidently declared that the people of Plateau State made the right decision in supporting him.

“I want to express my gratitude to the people of Plateau,” Mutfwang proclaimed. “You stood by us during our difficult times, and God will reward you. We promise that you will also be proud of Plateau State because God will do great things that will make us all proud.”
The governor outlined his plans for the state, with a strong focus on addressing issues such as insecurity, poverty, and illiteracy. He vowed to work tirelessly to provide good governance and transform Plateau State into a beacon of hope and prosperity.
“With God’s help, we will put an end to the attacks on Plateau,” Mutfwang asserted. “With God’s help, we will eradicate poverty and illiteracy on the Plateau. We will make Plateau State a symbol of hope and resilience.”

. Former Governor Jonah Jang, the State Chairman of PDP, Chris Hassan, former Minority Leader Simon Mwadkwon, the State ALGON Chairman, Hamisu Anani, an elder statesman, Amb. Yahaya Kwande, and Hajia Jemila Gwandu all called for unity among citizens.
Former Governor Jonah Jang praised Mutfwang’s courage and urged him to unite the state and tackle past injustices. “I implore you, Your Excellency, to create a record,” Jang urged. “Hold meetings with all political parties in Plateau State to promote unity. This will ensure clean elections and respect for the winner.”
The Speaker of the State Assembly, Gabriel Dewan, pledged the legislature’s unwavering support to Mutfwang’s administration, stating that it is now time for governance, not politics. He assured the governor that they stand united and ready to turn his vision into reality.
Chris Hassan, the State Chairman of PDP, added his voice to the chorus of support, emphasizing the challenges they faced during the journey but expressing confidence in the PDP’s ability to deliver good governance.
Hassan declared. “The people of Plateau made the right decision. I am voting for Governor Mutfwang and the PDP. Our party is well-structured, and we will support him in delivering good governance to the people.”
