
In a statement issued on Friday night, Caleb Mutfwang, the Governor of Plateau State, revealed his appointment of 136 Special Assistants.
The announcement, made public by the Governor’s Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, noted that the appointees are distributed across the state’s 17 Local Government Areas, with eight positions allocated per area.
Specific roles were not provided in the statement, but it was mentioned that the designations for each appointee will be communicated to them in their respective Local Government Councils.
The newly appointed officials are expected to assume their roles immediately. The announcement also noted this is the first batch of appointments.
Among the appointees are notable individuals like Hon. Dalyop Pin, Miss Nyam Jemima, Miss Patience Ufwalal, Dachomo Sunday, Shim Malau, Dabot Dung, Mr. Pam Nuhu, and Mr. Samson Chuwang. Other appointees include Aaron Jamo, Gimbia Tahu, Yahaya Ibrahim, Atoyi Daniel, Katuk Ahamdu, Ughili Agaji, Ichi David, and Sunday Wada, among others.
