A shocking incident unfolded on Wednesday in the Maigemu District of Jos East local government area of Plateau State, as a large group of gunmen stormed the area and staged a disturbing kidnapping.

A clergyman and three local residents were abruptly taken from the community, prompting mass confusion and fear. Reports reaching NewsOnThePlateau indicated that the gunmen specifically targeted the ECWA Church Nuku sector of the district, conducting the outrageous act around 5:40 a.m.

In a chilling turn of events, they seized the clergyman from his home, right in front of his family members. DSP Alfred Alabo, spokesman for the Plateau State Command of the Nigerian Police Force, confirmed the incident and assured that their officers are dedicated to capturing those who committed this heinous act.
