Ferdinand Mbum, the General Manager of Mighty Jets International FC in Jos, recently shared the club’s impressive achievements under his leadership. With a rich history dating back to 1970, Mighty Jets FC has made a significant impact on Nigerian football.

During a press conference in Jos, Mr. Ferdinand highlighted the club’s focus on talent development, noting the success of four youngsters who were recently invited to the Golden Eaglets team.

“Talent development has been at the core of everything we are doing right now, and the results are already manifesting, so we’re not perturbed nor shaken at all, four of our youngsters have currently been invited to the Golden Eaglets team as a result of their performances in what is just their first season.” He noted.

He also discussed the club’s commitment to self-sufficiency and its strategic approach to player scouting and data analysis. “Several scouts have been deployed since my first day in office, documenting the progress of our players with data-driven tools.”He revealed.

Striking a balance between experienced players and promising prospects, Mr. Mbum emphasized the importance of providing opportunities for young footballers to shine. “Talent may be universal but opportunity is not,” he added, stressing the need to trust in the potential of the club’s rising stars.

During a recent trip to England, Mr. Mbum explored new partnerships and opportunities for player exports, securing trials for two players at top Spanish clubs. “Our journey overseas was not for a tea party by any means,we held strategic business meetings and beneficial networking sessions.” He stated.

He expressed gratitude to Governor Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for his unwavering support, enabling the club to operate smoothly and achieve its goals.

Mr. Mbum highlighted the close collaboration between the club’s Sporting Director and state authorities, signaling a shared commitment to excellence.

He also addressed and dismissed allegations of match-fixing, asserting the club’s readiness to take legal action against any unfounded rumors.
